It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (#1)

November 13, 2017 8 Comments

It's Monday! What Are You Reading is a weekly hop hosted by The Book Date. The following is taken from her website. "

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It's a great post to organise yourself. It's an opportunity to visit and comment, and er... add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from
Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!"

It's slowly getting colder and colder  here in Indiana, so I've finally gave in and started using my heat so my boyfriend doesn't freeze to death!
I've been super into Lost since I restarted it on
Netflix, and Riverdale is a close second.

In the last week I've read:

&

Both were short, but very good. I took a break from more serious reading to read a YA novel by Cole. It was my first book of his that I've ever read and I wasn't disappointed.
Through the woods was super creepy, and you can find my review if you click here.

What I'm Currently Reading:

It's another decently short one, and I'm liking it so far. The drawing is kind of crude in the beginning, but it changed quickly after a few pages.

I have no idea what I'll pick up next. I don't have it planned yet.

Review ❤

The inside of this book is mind-blowing! Every single one of the illustrations were bone-rattling. The book is shrouded in darkness, creating an eerie atmosphere as you delve deeper into these terrifying tales.

What initially drew me in was the cover. Yes, I'm a cover buyer. I'm outing myself as a "judge a book by it's cover"-er. I can't help it! The second thing that drew me in was how ominous the synopsis sounded. It was short, but man did it pack a punch. I devoured it as fast as I could, and then read it a second time immediately to see if I missed anything hidden within the magic that is this book.

These five tales are nightmare inducing. Hands down. Click here to pick it up and see if you're not scared... ;)

Hello everyone! I decided to go ahead and make another blog. I wasn't satisfied with the one over at The Review Room because it had both product reviews and book reviews on it. This one will be mainly for books and book related things like discussions or bookish memes. I'm also going to try and converse more with the book blogging community!

So, I'll start on a bookish meme to end this post and re-start my journey into books!

Sundays In Bed With...

Sundays In Bed With...is a meme hosted by Kim and Kate on their blog. It asks what book or books have been in your bed this morning?

I really like this! It's short, eerie, with absolutely amazing illustrations you can't pull your eyes away from. Perfect for people who can't accept Halloween has already came and gone, or if you just like creepy book vibes!
